Dear Church Family, I hope you had an enjoyable Christmas, however you were able to celebrate this year. We had a nice, quiet Christmas but were able to Zoom with our family. We were overwhelmed by your generous and thoughtful Christmas gift. We can’t thank you enough. It is our joy and privilege to be able to serve the Falls Village Congregational Church and to enjoy your friendship and love. We will not be worshipping in person tomorrow, but online. The staff of the Southern New England Conference of the United Church of Christ put together a worship service for all the churches in the Conference to use this week. It is available anytime by clicking onto this link (Ctrl + Click) https://vimeo.com/490833293. The bulletin is available at https://www.sneucc.org/files/sneucc/coronavirus/dec27+worship+bulletin.pdf. I hope you will enjoy this 35-minute service which will be shared by Congregationalists throughout the region. I appreciate being able to enjoy a vacation break for these next two weeks. There are several important prayer requests. Frank Hadsell’s cousin Linda, for whom we have been praying for a number of weeks died before Christmas, so please keep her family in prayer. Also continue to pray for Hannah, Sis Rhoades’ niece, who suffered a serious stroke. And of course, we continue to pray for Carole McGuire. Her daughter Kate is able to be with her for three weeks. God’s blessing to each of you in this special season. Yours in Christ, Rich
