Dear Church Family, I’m excited! Falls Village Congregational Church is getting a facelift. The sanctuary interior is being painted for the first time in many years. Valley Restorations is the contractor and they have been working hard to try to complete most of the painting by Sunday. However, there is a possibility we may need to worship in Miner Hall, depending on their progress. Many thanks to Trustees and others who have been working hard to oversee this project and make it happen. Don’t you love the name of the color chosen?—Peach Pie. It sounds calculated to create a delicious atmosphere in which to feast on the word of God! The chancel recess will provide a contrast of a light green. It should be beautiful. This week’s focus is on the first part of the parable of the prodigal son. The texts are Joshua 5:10-15 and Luke 15:11-24. The sermon title is “The Greatest Story Ever Told.” There will be no Good Word next week. We’re taking a whirlwind trip to TN to see the children and grandchildren. We’ll be back for communion Sunday on April 3. Texts for that day are Isaiah 43:16-21 and Luke 8:26-39. The sermon is “What is Your Name?” I look forward to seeing you on Sunday. Peace and Joy, Rich
