Dear Church Family,
Just a quick note to let you know that Lynn and I will be away this weekend attending a family wedding in Philadelphia.  Unfortunately, the bride’s grandfather, Lynn’s brother Bing, will not be able to attend.  He is scheduled to have emergency heart surgery on Friday.   Please pray for him.
Many thanks to Terry Ryan, who will be leading worship on Sunday in my absence.  This is a communion Sunday.   Have a good weekend and a good service. 
Kudos to Liz Allyn, who directed, and Susan Kelsey and Debbie Mark, who sang in the concert last Sunday of the Litchfield County Choral Society.  It was a most enjoyable concert and great fun to hear people make music together.
