Dear Church Family,
               I had a wonderful time at the Yale Divinity School Convocation and  my 50th class reunion.  There were numerous lectures and other learning opportunities.  But the best part was sharing stories with classmates, some of whom I hadn’t seen since graduation.  Five of my best seminary friends were there, which made the time especially enjoyable. 
               We’re on the road again this coming week, attending a wedding in Winchester.  We’ll also see Toby  before heading to Tennessee, where we’ll spend 4 days with Josh’s family.  Eileen Epperson will be leading worship in my absence 
               As most of you know, long time member of the church Aurelia Blodgett died last Friday.  Her service will be in the church on Saturday, October 22 at 3 p.m., with calling hours from 3-5 on Friday at the Newkirk Palmer funeral home.  Eileen will be officiating at the service.  Please keep Aurelia’s family in your prayers.
