Dear Church Family, We are having a wonderful week. Last Saturday I participated in the wedding of a young man who was the first baby I baptized when I was called to 1st Presbyterian Church, Winchester, VA in 1994. It was good seeing some old friends. And now we are spending time in TN with Josh, Liza, and the grandchildren. It is amazing what change you see in the girls’ development in only a couple of months, especially with the youngest who is now walking up a storm and climbing on everything. We’ve had beautiful fall weather and lots of activity. We’ve had a good time getting better acquainted with Genevieve while Christie and Emme are in school. But as always, we’ll be glad to be back with you on Sunday. The sermon is “Too Responsible?” based on Isaiah 1:10-18 and Luke 19: 11-26. I’ve attached a flyer about the upcoming study on prayer, which begins on November 2 and continues for three Wednesdays from 2-3 p.m. in Miner Hall. I hope many of you will be able to attend. See you Sunday, Peace and Joy, Rich
