Dear Church Family, Just a quick reminder of several upcoming activities. Kay Blass continues to take orders for apple and pumpkin pies. We’ve ordered two (our excuse being the grandchildren will be here) and are savoring them already. The deadline is Friday. We’re collecting in Miner Hall gently used warm winter coats and outerwear to be distributed by FISH to needy folks in Litchfield County. Lynn and I will take them to the collection point at Salisbury Congregational Church after the service on Sunday. We’re amazed how much excess attire we have accumulated through the years that can be better used to keep someone else warm. . There will be a cleanup day at church on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11?? Unfortunately, I will be unable to join you. I have a Salisbury Association Trustees meeting Saturday morning. Rain date is the following Saturday. Scripture readings for Sunday will be 2 Kings 2:19-25 (a very unusual story) and Ephesians 6:10-20. The sermon is “Thick Skinned Faith for Thin Skinned People.” See you in church. Peace and Joy, Rich
