Dear Church Family,
               We are in for a real treat this Sunday.  Our choir, along with the choirs of Norfolk and Cornwall Congregational Churches will be presenting a joint concert at the Norfolk Church at 4:30 p.m.  The choirs have been rehearsing for several months and Liz has put together a delightful and diverse selection of music.  Several special instrumentalists will also take part.   The choirs have worked hard.  I hope most of our congregation will be there to enjoy. Music is a great gift of God, and I take great comfort in the Psalmist’s words that we should “make a joyful noise to the Lord.”   We strive to be in tune—but God reminds us even a joyful noise will do! A reception will be held following the program. 
               Worship for the 2nd Sunday of Pentecost will be based on the texts Genesis 12:1-9 and Romans 4:13-25.  The sermon is “It Depends on Faith.”
