Our congregation has a history of 150 years of continuous existence. In a family sized church, just as in a family, the opinion of everyone matters. Things work best when people are encouraged to express themselves, when all points of view are valued, when we listen to each other and engage in dialogue that leads to consensus. When a major decision is made we want every member to feel that he or she is part of the congregational consensus. We are small, but through widespread volunteer participation a lot of good work gets done. We have a deep desire to keep this church thriving.
