front-summersunrise service 2014

Established in 1858, the Falls Village Congregational Church is a friendly and caring faith community within the NW corner of Connecticut. Although once one of four churches in the town, the Falls Village Congregational is now the only one that still provides Sunday services. We worship every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Our services lean toward a traditional style. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month, where God’s Table is open to everyone. Our dedicated choir joyfully enhances our Sunday worship services. We hold our Easter sunrise service on a hill near the church, where we gather around a cross. (The original cross had been made by one of the Sunday School classes, but has since been replaced.) We also offer a Christmas Eve candlelight service. We participate in area-wide Lenten ecumenical services as well as a quarterly Men’s Communion breakfast. Attire for our services is generally “casual” although you’ll find that some people choose to wear their “Sunday best.” Children are always welcome and Sunday School is provided on the 2nd and 4th Sundays during the 10 a.m. service.
